Spectrum Training Resources has a variety of staging units at both the Cert II & Cert III level

CUASTA303 Operate staging elements

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to control the movement of set items during shows in the entertainment and events industries.

At this level, individuals are required to use some discretion and judgement and operate under broad supervision within an established framework of plans and procedures.

CUASTA201 Develop basic staging skills

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to prepare stages and position set elements for performances in the entertainment and events industries.

At this level, individuals are working under the direct supervision of experienced personnel.

CUASTA301 Assist with production operations for live performances

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to assist with a broad range of tasks associated with technical and staging aspects of live performances.

Individuals undertaking this role would be required to use some discretion and judge

ment and operate within an established framework of plans and procedures. They would be supervised by personnel experienced in lighting, sound, staging and vision systems.

CUASTA302 Install stging elements

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to install a range of staging elements for live productions in the entertainment and events industries. At this level, individuals are required to use some discretion and judgement and operate under broad supervision within an established framework of plans and procedures.
